Update.

Note: I did not draw this. It's well more advanced than my drawing skills.

So it’s July the 4th, and I have been out of commission for a bit.  Things are getting hairy in the rehearsals for Shakespeare, and in my head I am screaming my face off with panic, but my exterior is smilely and peppy.  I have been building sets with my fellow actor who is also the playwright, producer, and set designer for the show.  Mr. Craig Engen.  He is a great fella and I have learned a ton of new things as I have never quite helped to build an actual set before. So it’s been eye opening and difficult.  Especially in this HEAT!!  Dear Mr. Sun,  CAN YOU CUT IT OUT ALREADY?  Thank you.  Sincerely, j.

Second weekend of Breaking Up is complete, and it was a decent size crowd.  Listening to the sound check on Friday night, I could tell that things were going to be awesome.  During opening there were a few times when the band overpowered the cast, but with the new adjustments, the band could play full blast and make you feel like you were at a concert.  And according to the response on after that opening number, you could  tell it was going to be faboo!!

I will be back on in a few days with some new info and hopefully a new podcast!

Let’s Celebrate!!!!

Well it took me long enough, didn’t it?

I finally have an Episode 4!

I realized that I really did ramble on and on and on.  So I took the extra time to edit out all the excessive stuff and did my best to keep it concise.  Show notes will be added very very shortly as I am working on them right now!  Also, I have added a new photo album to my Facebook page with some pics of the Breaking Up cast.

Without further, adieu  I present Episode 4

Thanks for taking a listen.

Next week, I’ll have a contest for a cute little character named “Carl”!

Sorry…

I have been out of commission for a while as I have been moving but also, I got the worst cold that I have ever had in about 3 or 4 years.

First bit of news I have is that the company orientation for “Breaking Up is Hard To Do” is on Sunday!  It’ll be great to get to know the cast a little before I start hounding them.

Second bit of news, is a total YAY moment.  You know how when you move, you end up finding little treasures that you had believed long since lost? Well, I had that moment happen! And as it turns out, what I found was the very thing that I needed to reconstruct the interview with Bill Starr.  So, I will begin (again for the umpteenth time) to re-edit it so that the voice levels are even and as clear as I can make them.

Third bit of news, I know there are certain things in my life that I must change.  One of them is that I would LOVE to jog more. I find that when I run I have better stamina when it comes to dancing and singing on stage.  You don’t sound or feel like you can’t breathe.  That was just a side note, an awkward segue if you will.  The real story is the video that follows.  Hugh Hysell is trying to nab a spot on The Biggest Loser.   He has submitted the BEST audition video.  I hope you cheer him on like I did!

Good Luck, Hugh!!!

Congratulations!!!!
